To initiate this quest, the Hero must travel to the tavern in Bloodstone and speak with Salty Jack. The old pirate shares tales of Captain Dread's legendary fortunes and provides the necessary guidance to begin your search. Following his instructions leads you into the Sinkhole cavern where forgotten paths await.
Navigating the Sinkhole and Facing Spectral Pirates
Once inside the cavern, players must follow the trail that winds past a massive stranded ship and up wooden ramps. You will encounter several waves of pirate ghosts guarding the inner chambers. Utilizing area-of-effect Will spells or summoning minions works exceptionally well for clearing out these persistent undead threats.
Reaching Lion's Head Isle and Unlocking Rewards
After solving room puzzles and operating Captain Dread's lever, you can board the ship and sail directly to Lion's Head Isle. This secret location features ten distinct treasure troves scattered across beaches, hidden caves, and under waterfalls. Exploring every nook of the island rewards dedicated adventurers with substantial gold, rare items, and unique collectibles before making the return voyage to Bloodstone.
